Chief Executive Officer
Steve has 20+ years director level experience in the telehealthcare sector including Managing Director roles within Modern Vitalcall, Cirrus Communications/Careline UK and Tunstall Healthcare as well as significant consulting experience as Director of HPS Consulting.
Mark was responsible for setting up Welbeing in 2005 through the merger of the Eastbourne Borough Council and Wealden District Council Lifeline services. A member of the Chartered Institute of Housing he has 25 years experience of designing and managing services to support independent living.
John has 16 years experience in the telehealthcare sector, including an extended period as Managing Director of the Telecare Service Association (TSA) where he doubled the organisation’s membership and devised and wrote the TSA’s first code of practice. Prior to joining Welbeing John was also a Director of HPS Consulting.
Head of Contact Centre
Derek is responsible for managing the contact centre responding to over 1 million contacts a year. Prior to joining Welbeing in 2013, Derek worked as an independent consultant working to develop and deliver key strategic business objectives. He has worked in the contact centre industry for a variety of award winning organisations.
Head of Finance
Helen joined Welbeing in 2013 and has vast experience as Head of Finance in commercial businesses with turnover between £4m and £250m in the Video Games and Travel industries. She is enthusiastic in all she does from preparing a set of monthly accounts to climbing up mountains. Helen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (ACMA).
IT Support Manager
Kevin joined Welbeing in Sept 2014 having previously worked for Moira House Girls School and before that in the manufacturing sector managing IT for a multinational company. Kevin has a Honours Degree in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Portsmouth and is a member of Seaford Striders running club, regularly competing in distance road races and mountain marathons. Kevin enjoys an occasional round of golf and spending time with his 2 children.
Simon has worked for Welbeing since September 2005. He has much experience in the company gained from a variety of roles including telecare installer, assessor and team leader before taking on his current role in July 2012. Previously Simon was a Police Constable for Sussex Police.
Human Resources Manager
Alannah is responsible for building the framework of human resource management principles, guidelines and practices. Prior to joining Welbeing in 2013, Alannah worked as an independent HR Consultant working with senior leaders to deliver strategic HR objectives. She has worked as a human resources generalist for over 14 years, mainly in the corporate sector, in a number of industries with a global presence.
Field Services Manager
Ben is responsible for the field based staff, workshop and stores. He has an extensive background in the support of electronic security systems. Having trained as an electrical/electronic technician within a NHS Hospital Trust, Ben's experience is significant including the design, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection systems within critical infrastructure environments such as nuclear power stations.
Charlene is responsible for delivering strategies across the marketing mix communicating to our corporate and consumer audiences.She is a highly experienced commercial marketing and sales professional with knowledge gained from a variety of organisations including The Financial Times and News International.
