Cyclists look well for a charity ride
The team at Wealden and Eastbourne Lifeline (WEL) were wary of saddle sore in the summer when they embarked on the world famous London to Brighton bike ride. Their ride was is in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
WEL help people live independently in their own homes by supplying and installing the latest telecare and telehealth technology – all monitored 24 hours a day by highly trained and experienced call operators and responders.
Strategic Finance and IT Development Consultant at WEL, Mark Fisher, said: "It is fair to say that the WEL cycling team are not looking for a wildcard entry into the next Tour de France, but everyone did make it over the finish line in Brighton! The event was great fun and raised lots of money for a great cause."
